Days remain. Harrison Haft’s debut solo exhibition with Collective Z — an irradiated garden of mutated forms, hybrid figures, and historically charged surfaces — closes this Saturday, May 30.

For three weeks, visitors have walked into the gallery and lingered. A peacock’s tail unfurled into a field of unblinking eyes. A nine-tailed fox haloed by candle flame. A painted surface pulled apart and taped back together, an image trying to remember itself out of the wreckage. Nuclear Eden rewards sustained attention — and the window to give it that attention narrows by the day.

The show begins with a simple premise: being queer is ordinary. Not invisible. Not assimilated. Not quietly tolerated. Ordinary — in the sense that it requires no justification, no performance, no special occasion.

The Ordinary is a group exhibition of 25 queer artists working across painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media. Selection is curatorial: work that engages — formally or conceptually — with queer experience, and arrives with a singular point of view. A curated show, not a parade. Pride, but for the work itself.
